5 Picture Books To Read With Your Little One For Women's History Month

Women play such a large role in our history and everyone should be aware of the beautiful contribution women have made over the years. Here are five picture books to read and spend quality time with your little one while learning about some of history’s many powerful women!

The Power of Her Pen by Lesa Cline-Ransome, Illustrated by John Parra

The biography of the African American journalist, Ethel L Payne, mainly focused on reporting during the Civil Rights movement. Her work consisted of focusing on bringing awareness to African Americans’ efforts and achievements.
